Fredrickson Residence
My wife and I had the wonderful opportunity to work together to
design and build our own house. I acted as the general
contractor having an incredible time helping and learning. We
moved into the house in May of 2007. We are very happy that
we took to the time to think about what we’d like our house to
be---how it would function, what it would look like, what it
would do to the environment and how much it would cost. The
initial time invested resulted in a house that when asked what
we’d do differently next time, my wife says nothing and I
mention a few small details.
